GB Series / World Tour Biathle Weymouth
Carole Smith of Weyport Masters won the Masters B Ladies event at the biathle held at Greenhill today.
As promised, the rain never stopped but Carole managed to win not only her event but also beat the 2nd and 3rd placed Masters B Men in doing so.
Weyport Masters' Nick Ireland came third in the Masters A Men, consolidating his 2nd position in the GB Series. Current series leader Dave Milburn got second and a visiting German won the race.
Other local clubs had good results. Beth Whittal from Weymouth SC won Youth D girls, Oscar Tweed from Warriors in the Youth C boys won his event, Poole SC's Melissa Courtney won Youth C girls and from Tornadoes, Tom Crew got the gold and Niall Laming the silver in Youth B boys.

The correct document is now available under Portland Harbour Swim -> 2007 -> Canoeist / Boat Owner Form.
Champion of Champions
Our own Kate Mason, Julia Aston and Linda Ashmore plus West Dorset Warrior's Susan Warden took part in this year's BLDSA Champion of Champions competition at Dover Harbour on Saturday. It comprised of three races of decreasing distances (5 miles, 3 miles and 1 mile) and the final placings were determined by the sum of the times taken to complete the courses.
I'll post the results and photos here when they are available.

Portland Harbour Swim Forms
I've just noticed that the Canoe/Boat form on the website is actually the same as the swim entry form.
I checked the source files I was provided and it's the same there too. I'll post the correct file once I get hold of a copy.

Portland Harbour Swim Update
I've added a menu item for the Portland Harbour Swim.
All the necessary paperwork can be obtained from Portland Harbour Swim -> 2007
I've also tweaked the menu style slightly in an attempt to make it more readable; more changes likely.
